Cows, cats, climbing and Bob's organ.

It was a busy week this week filled with some of great assignments. I was able to spend time outside at the Peterson farm, climbing trees, basketball practice and the golf course.

Most of all, I was working on a story with reporter Erin Grace about Bob Markworth and his musical tribute to his wife. Bob's wife Joyce passed away unexpectedly last month and instead of canceling the community concert he hosts in his basement he dedicated it to her. You can see the video above, photos below and Erin Grace's beautiful tribute here.

Weston

After almost a year at The Dallas Morning News I have moved on to start a new job as a staff photographer for the Omaha World-Herald. I'm so grateful for the experiences I was able to have and for having such a wonderful group of photographers and photo editors to learn from. I wrote a little about my experience on the DMN photo blog: Intern Exit Interview. Here is one of my last and favorite assignments in Weston, Texas.
