Week 5 at The DMN

Beverly Bess and Wyatt Skaines pictured at her home on July 7, 2013 in McKinney.The two met in church when Skaine's wife, who had been ill for many years, was dying. Beverly had lost two husbands to deaths from cancer and knew how much he was suffering. The two talked for over a year and helped each other through their losses. In the process they fell in love.
