McReynolds is participating in a clinical trial testing a new vaccine that researchers hope will keep his brain tumor in check. As a participant in the trial, Mike is getting the standard chemotherapy regimen as well as either a vaccine or a placebo. McReynolds' tumor has nearly disappeared with treatment.
