Snow Day: Outdoor Edition

The University has announced its third snow day due to an 18 inch snowfall. Students are taking advantage of the time off school by building igloos and snow forts. The roads are just beginning to clear up but most cars are buried under mounds of snow. At night downtown has been eerily empty resembling some sort of post-apocalyptic scene.

University maintenance workers shovel in front of the Reyonlds Journalism  Institute.

Senior Miles McGhee sits in an igloo on east campus.

Residents shovel an abandoned Tenth St. on Tuesday night.
